The door is always open...

Good Day! Thank you for visiting with me and my first blog. I am excited to get this started and have it look as beautiful and wonderful as yours!!

Please be patient with me and I promise I will share great ideas with you.

There are many true loves in my life. Family and friends are the greatest!! I love crafting, turning trash into treasure, making $ store items look like a Million bucks, replicating big names like Pottery Barn, Pier One, Ballard Design and Williams-Sonoma. I enjoy being frugal and the challenge of getting more for my money. I love poetry, music, gardening being with my kids and my husband, living the motto..."Paint it", "Hot glue it", "Decoupage it", but please don't get rid of it, because that's when "I'll NEED it".

I look forward to chatting with you more often and getting to know you all and for you to know more about me.

I have a wonderful husband, 2 girls and a stepson. We just bought our "new" home in April of 2010 and are now making it into our cozy home. Despite the flood we had in our basement 2-3 weeks ago and the electrical and heating issues, we are onward to a brighter tomorrow. We know that kindness means everything because someone, somewhere has a battle much larger than ours!! We are a Christian family with a strong family and friendship circle.
